Senior Civil Engineer
Job Description
<strong><u>Job Description<br><br></u></strong>Parsons are looking a Senior Civil Engineer with experience in the design, construction, and operation of waste water treatment plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the civil engineering aspects of the project, including site design, drainage, earthworks, and civil infrastructure<br><br><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Develop and review project specifications and design criteria for civil engineering components of the Waste Water Treatment Plant project</li><li>Provide technical support during the construction phase of the project, including responding to requests for information and reviewing shop drawings</li><li>Prepare cost estimates, construction schedules, and design reports</li><li>Contribute to the development of project proposals, including technical scope and budget</li><li>Participate in risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies as required</li><li>Liaise with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and expectations, and communicate project progress and issues</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes</li><li>Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to ensure integrated design solutions</li><li>Manage the work of junior engineers and drafters to ensure that designs are of high quality and conform to project requirements</li><li>Plan and design site development, including grading, drainage, and infrastructure design<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, including ASCE, AWWA, and EPA</li><li>A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design, construction, and operation of waste water treatment plants or similar<br><br></li></ul><strong><u>Minimum Clearance Required To Start<br><br></u></strong>Not Applicable/None<br><br>Parsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
