Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled translator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience translating technical documents related to engineering, such as Bids, Tenders, and technical documents & contracts. The translator will be responsible for accurately translating documents from "Arabic/English language and vice versa" in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments within wider scope.

Key Accountability Areas

– Translate technical documents related to engineering from Arabic/English language and vice versa.
– Consults with subject matter experts and other colleagues to clarify technical terminology and ensure accuracy of translations.
– Refers to online translation tools for additional assistance with translation.
– Provides translation needed periods based on project length and level of complexity.
– Proofread and edit translated documents as necessary.
– Ensure timely delivery of translated documents.
– Manage translation projects from start to finish.
– Maintain translation memory and terminology databases.
