We have an opportunity for a Security Design Engineer to join our Honeywell Building Technologies team in Cairo, Egypt to work closely with project and sales teams to ensure that the design of the technical documents, drawings and proposals are developed correctly and as per the clients expectation.

Security Design Engineer Responsibilities

  •  Early engagement in bidding phases for security projects
  • Creating and devolving standardized tools that support design approvals for security projects
  • Managing customer approvals for all the designed engineering documents and drawings
  • Manage to increase the opportunities of VOs that will increase project profitability.
  • Control project changes with functional efficient and affordable engineering design.
  • Manage site team supports and supervisions activities and site coordination.
  • Manage to develop tools for designed approved product for easy ordering and tracking.
  • Deeply engaged to validate technical and commercial proposals from suppliers providing areas of improvement as a value engineering for saving and increasing margins
  • Manage to establish customer relationships during design workshops and engineering documents/drawings coordination.
  • Documenting the engineering design activities and presenting progress reports to all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project execution background with an understanding of various security systems.
  • Strong skills in Office 360.
  • Very good command of English.
