Job Description
Role Purpose:
- To acquire data from the Public Safety (Enablon) system and review, interpret and analyse it to provide meaningful information in a simple, organized manner.
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
- Identify patterns and trends in data.
- Monitor and analyze data entered in Metrics and organize into useable reporting formats.
- Work with OSH Lead to prioritize business and information needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
- Define new data collection and analysis processes to keep reporting current.
- Support investigation into issues and provide resolution analysis and business engagement.
- Contribute to the testing of system changes to ensure the solution meets business requirements and solution design.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual reports for executives, project teams and stakeholders.
- Create visualizations of data within Enablon Dashboards and Power BI.
- Support Sectors with the system when compliance reporting is required.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience with data models and reporting packages
- Understanding of the principles that underpin effective data processing, management, reporting and analysis.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting finding.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while delivering high quality results.
- Ability to think analytically with an inclination for problem solving. Industry Specific Experience:
- Occupational Safety & Health functional experience preferred
Qualifications
Education β Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
A degree in Computer Science and/or proven working experience within the statistics, mathematics, economics, or data science fields.
IT Skills:
- Expert in Microsoft Excel and proven experience in developing complex reports & solutions on Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, SQL databases, programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
People Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required.
- Able to co-ordinate work with others, work effectively in a virtual team, share and transfer knowledge within sector teams.
- Excellent customer focus and proven ability to work collaboratively.
- Perform any other duties that are reasonably required from time to time. Must demonstrate discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Extent of Guidance or Control:
- The incumbent must work closely with the Public Safety team in all aspects relating to the collation and utilization of data derived from the Enablon system Position Significance Relative to NEOM Organization:
- The position is part of the Public Safety team and has a high level of technical access which is susceptible to risk. Additionally, the position has access to all data including confidential and highly sensitive information.
