Job Description

  • Creating menus and developing new recipes.
  • Conducting quality control checks to ensure that all food is cooked to the proper temperature and meets safety standards.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures, such as streamlining menu offerings and optimizing ingredient usage.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable and consistent delivery of high-quality products.

Skills

  • Must have a good understanding of the business side of running a restaurant, including inventory management, food costs, and profit margins.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Should have a good understanding of each team member’s strengths and weaknesses and be able to utilize them effectively.
  • Be knowledgeable in different cooking techniques, such as grilling, baking, and frying, to cook different dishes to perfection.
