Your future role &amp; Job Purpose<br><br>We are looking to hire <strong>Senior Demand Planning Specialist.<br><br></strong>To support the development of the overall strategy of Demand Planning. The individual in this role is expected to perform spend &amp; category analysis and work closely with all internal stakeholders to capture their demand and develop planning strategies accordingly.<br><br>Key Accountabilities<br><br>The <strong>Senior Demand Planning Specialist</strong>, will be responsible for but not limited to:<br><ul><li>Lead the development, implementation, and update of all polices, strategies, procedures and process related to demand planning</li><li>Develop and work with the ERP team to ensure that PSCM requirements related to demand planning is implemented.</li><li>Communicate with all internal stakeholders to ensure capturing accurate forecasting to their materials/services requirements.</li><li>Develop baseline/ historical trend and forecasts models using excel and/or demand management tools.</li><li>Analyze and interpret demand data and trends</li><li>Provide input to all internal functions to help plan their activities accordingly.</li><li>Identify opportunities to enhance business performance through improved analytics and reporting.</li><li>Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles</li><li>People management responsibility.</li><li>Deliver briefs, updates, and reports as and when required.<br><br></li></ul> Who we are looking for<br><br><strong>Experience: </strong> 10/+ years of relevant experience. <strong>Preferably </strong>to have experience in Shipbuilding/Rebuilding/Marine / Shipyard Industries<br><br><strong>Education: </strong>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or closely related degree<br><br><strong>Professional Qualifications: </strong>Demand Planning Certification/ MCIPS considered a plus<br><br><strong>Competencies (Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities)<br></strong><ul><li>Communication and Interpersonal Skills</li><li>Basic accounting and business finance principles.</li><li>Negotiation Skills.</li><li>Presentation Skills.</li><li>Analytical, quantitative and Problem-Solving Skills</li><li>Expert in Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools</li><li>Previous experience working with ERP systems.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Language:</strong> Fluent In English<br><br>About Application Process If you meet the criteria and you are enthusiastic about the role, we would welcome your application.
