Our newest opportunity is for a talented Surveyor to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This position is responsible for providing Health and Safety advice and information to KEO staff and contractors to raise the safety standards and ensure compliance on site.
We envisage success in this role to include
- Responsible in the review, approval, issuance and closing all PTW (Permit To Work) submitted by different parties having works within the area.
- Coordinating with EHS Competent Authority & other sectors’ regulatory authorities for facilitating implementation of relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring Emergency Preparedness (Corporate ERP, Crisis Management Plan for all Business Units)
- Supporting the promotion of a “Zero Accidents” philosophy throughout Facility & Infrastructure Management.
- Supporting the implementation of processes and procedures for the effective management of Health, Safety and Environmental activities.
- Providing input and data to the Manager Engineering & Acting Managers FM for the periodic reporting on PTW Statistics.
- Verifying that field practices are compliant with the processes and procedures through audits, site visits and inspections and providing corrective actions to the relevant Acting Manager Facility Management.
- Supporting incident investigations and providing feedback and corrective actions for implementation.
- Supporting the implementation of Construction HSE improvement programmes and projects to improve HSE performance.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective program and ensuring compliance to satisfy the requirements of local legislation e.g. The OHSAD and EMS standard, EH S Industrial Zone and etc.
- Participating in routine HSE activities including corrective actions, investigations and onsite audits.
To be successful in this role we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 years’ career experience in civil/infra projects, partnered with a Bachelor Degree/Diploma qualification and valid Abu Dhabi OSHAD Certified Practitioner license.
