<strong>Position: </strong> Senior Design Manager<p><br></p><strong> Reports to </strong> : Nature Reserve<p><br></p><strong> Sector: </strong> Nature Reserve<p><br></p><strong> Job Location: </strong> Sharma, NEOM<p><br></p><strong> Role Purpose: </strong><p><br></p>A senior design manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of designers to create innovative and effective designs that meet the needs of clients. They oversee the entire design process, from concept development to final product delivery, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.<p><br></p><strong>Key Accountabilities &amp; Activities</strong>:<p><br></p><ul><li> Leading the design team: a senior design manager is responsible for leading a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure that all projects are completed successfully.</li><li> Developing design strategies: the senior design manager is responsible for developing and implementing design strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.</li><li> Managing budgets: the senior design manager is responsible for managing budgets for all design projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget constraints.</li><li> Collaborating with other departments: the senior design manager works closely with other departments within the organization to ensure that all designs meet their needs and requirements.</li><li> Conducting research: the senior design manager conducts research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, incorporating this knowledge into their work.</li><li> Ensuring quality control: the senior design manager is responsible for ensuring that all designs meet quality standards, reviewing work regularly to identify areas for improvement.</li><li> Mentoring junior designers: the senior design manager provides guidance and mentorship</li><li> Communicating with stakeholders: the senior design manager communicates regularly with stakeholders, including clients, executives, and other departments within the organization.</li><li> Managing consultants in the production of all design elements including Detailed Masterplan, Architecture Design from inception through to overseeing of design throughout the construction and delivery process.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Knowledge, Skills And Experience</strong><p><br></p>Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of designers<p><br></p><ul><li> Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written</li><li> Ability to think creatively and strategically</li><li> Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously</li><li> Knowledge of design software such as adobe creative suite</li><li> At least 7 years of experience in a design with at least 3 years in a managerial role</li><li> Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines</li><li> Experience working with cross-functional teams</li><li> Experience preferably working within Middle East but not essential</li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications</strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field (master’s degree preferred)</li><li> Certification in project management (PMP) preferred</li></ul>
