We have been engaged by one of the world’s leading media company. They have a unparallel history going back decades and are looking forward to a major anniversary next year.
The company are creating a new office in Dubai Media City and will be hiring a Data team to help manage algorithms and predicative consumer behaviour. The company recently appointed a CDO in the USA and this role would have a dotted reporting line to the CDO but also a local reporting line to the CIO. You will be working with a highly skilled team of Data Engineer’s, Data Governance specialists and Data Analysts. The role will help their customers by leveraging Big Data analytics by integrating open source platforms, such as Hadoop, NoSQL and Streaming Engines, with best-of-breed data warehousing environments.
Skills
- Relevant degree in computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Skilled in programming languages and frameworks commonly used in data science, such as R or TensorFlow.
- Experience with data preprocessing techniques, such as feature selection and dimensionality reduction.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and solve complex problems.
- Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends in data.
- Developing and implementing statistical models and machine learning algorithms to analyze data.
- Engaging with diverse stakeholders to communicate data insights and recommendations.
