Job Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance works for chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans & DX units
  • Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing maintenance.
  • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  • Providing technical direction and on-the-job training to other trades.
  • Preparing work orders as per instructions of FM coordinator.
  • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers’ requirements.
  • Assisting with client’s queries.
  • Request and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC Equipment
  • Carry out other tasks as directed
  • Ensure compliance with all SNC-Lavalin HSE rules.
  • Take steps and initiatives to protect environment by limiting printing, energy and water saving.
  • Do not engage in unsafe act and always report unsafe conditions
  • Report all the incidents immediately
  • Wear required PPE all the time while on work
  • Attend tool box talks and other trainings
  • Prepare work orders for all assigned activities
  • Completion of 100% of assigned tasks
  • Ensure 100% compliance with PPE requirements

Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Diploma/Certificate in HVAC
  • 6-8 years relevant experience preferably in Facility management
