Our fast-growing practice is looking to double the team in the next 12 to 18 months. It focuses on providing support for transactions and assists clients in all operational and integration aspects of the transaction, pre and post completion, including: Buy side operational due diligence; synergy development and review; sell-side due diligence; carve-out; turnaround; taking control and 100-day planning; value creation planning; mergers & acquisitions integration; post-acquisition performance improvement.<p><br></p><strong><u>Role Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p>As a Financial Services Deals Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:<p><br></p><ul><li>Support Senior Managers leading post-merger integrations </li><li>Identifying synergies and value creation opportunities</li><li>Providing strategic and operational advice for our clients from setting the deal strategy to post-deal execution</li><li>Supporting our clients in conducting commercial due diligence on potential target acquisitions</li><li>Supporting clients with Day 1 readiness </li><li>Being the main point of contact for our clients to build relationships </li><li>Assist with project budgeting and finance management, along with coaching and resource management on a portfolio of clients</li><li>Managing client expectations and ensuring that the scope of work, as agreed upon within the contract, is completed to PwC’s standards of excellence</li><li>Contributing to business development efforts including drafting proposals</li><li>Developing your understanding of the key trends in the Financial Services sector in the Middle East region</li><li>Working collaboratively with other Deals experts to shape the future of our clients and to bring about positive change while having access to all of the latest training and development tools and the support of the wider PwC network</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Significant experience in strategy, business transformation and/or operational consulting firm or operations department in a corporate environment</li><li>Familiar with the overall M&A process</li><li>Experience in the execution and program management of post-merger integrations / carve outs ranging from large scale acquisitions and disposals to smaller scale transactions will be an advantage</li><li>Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success in managerial roles providing transaction-related services such as operational due diligence, post-merger integration, carve-out or operational turnaround to large company and private equity fund clients.</li><li>Eager to to build relationships with clients and teams</li><li>Open to build collaborative working relationships at all levels, establishing credibility both internally and externally</li><li>Commercial exposure in negotiation and consultation directly with clients</li><li>Capable of managing complex projects while functioning as a trusted advisor</li><li>Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, having the ability to prioritize workload and meeting tight deadlines </li><li>Comfortable managing project’s budget and profit</li><li>Enjoys providing direction, coaching and guidance to junior resources</li><li>Confident communicator and can deliver messages with impact to a wide variety of audiences</li><li>Arabic speaking would be considered an asset</li><li>Your flexibility to travel 40-60% of the time. This means we may require you to work away from your base office location on a regular basis and frequent overnight stays may be required.
