Optimization of purchasing processes to ensure that all operational procurement activities can be carried out with the highest possible efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>Ensuring on-schedule production to meet customer demands. Alignment of production capacity and preparation of a cost-efficient production plan.</p><p><br></p><p>Adjust key drivers for CX (e.g. lead times, safety stocks) and product costs (e.g. minimum order quantities, production lot sizes) to balance customer satisfaction and product costs .</p><p><br></p><p>Purchasing of Raw Materials and Components & Production Scheduling</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Create purchase orders, delivery schedules</li><li>Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates and quantities</li><li>Expedite deliveries if needed, define emergency and improvement plans with suppliers</li><li>Negotiate with suppliers on terms of delivery.</li><li>Create production orders</li><li>Monitor delivery dates and quantities of production orders</li><li>Align production capacity, by indicating upcoming demands</li><li>Expedite late production orders, align delays or capacity shortages with Front End Logistics/Customer Service</li><li>KPI: Team Near Hits participation/Team LTI TIRR OTIF/Efficiency</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Performance Management & Master Data</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Calculate, publish, and analyze key performance metrics related to production planning. supplier on-time delivery and customer on-time delivery.</li><li>Support sourcing in supplier evaluation processes.</li><li>Maintain SAP master data (materials, suppliers)</li><li>KPI: Team Near Hits participation/Team LTI TIRR OTIF/Efficiency</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Process Improvement</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Actively drive and participate in SCM process improvement projects</li><li>KPI: Team Near Hits participation/Team LTI TIRR OTIF/Efficiency</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong> Experience (required): </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Several years of experience as a Planner and/or Buyer</li><li>Good knowledge in SAP and MS-Office (esp. Excel)</li><li>Good English skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> Experience (preferred): </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Experience gained in a manufacturing company</li><li>Negotiating with suppliers</li><li>Capacity planning/scheduling with SAP</li><li>Supplier management</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> Education (required): </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Industrial Business Management Education or bachelor’s degree</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong> Education (preferred): </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering</li></ul>
