NEOM will be a hub for innovation, where established global businesses and emerging players can research, incubate, and commercialize groundbreaking technologies to accelerate human progress.<p><br></p>We are seeking an experienced and analytical Business Specialist with strong financial modelling skills to create and deliver NEOM Sport’s financial model and improve processes within NEOM Sport.<p><br></p>Duties for the Business Specialist will include being responsible for addressing all work needed for the creation and delivery of NEOM Sport’s Financial Model and keeping it up to date and aligned to plans of relevant stakeholders.<p><br></p>Your skills in sound financial modelling coupled with your exceptional skills in Excel and sound financial acumen will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies, understanding and managing debt, improving revenue models and enhancing investor confidence.<p><br></p><strong> Key Accountabilities & Activities: </strong><p><br></p>The vision for NEOM Sport is that: NEOM will be an innovative hub for sport. To achieve this vision, our mission statement is that Sport will build a lifestyle, a destination and a global brand for NEOM. The NEOM Sport Sector Team is responsible for delivering this vision and mission.<p><br></p>The role of Business Specialist is integral to the implementation and monitoring of the NEOM Sport Strategy through the creation and delivery of NEOM Sport’s Financial Model that will be used as an instrument to achieve the Sport Strategy. The Sport Strategy is comprised of a range of financial business lines and investments including sport assets, events, partnerships, sport technology, adventure sport, high performance and physical activity programs.<p><br></p>The specific duties for this role include the creation and delivery of a robust asset-centric financial model using the 3-statement and DCF method that will enable NEOM Sport to easily make sound financial decisions to achieve the Strategy as presented to the Board. Furthermore, the Business Specialist will be responsible for assisting the Senior Business Manager in planning, overseeing internal controls, developing/setting financial targets, supporting the development of the financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, and evaluating investments<p><br></p>The ideal candidate should possess strong financial and analytical skills, the ability to link financial modelling to strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and the ability to prepare and present clear, concise and compelling financial information.<p><br></p>Specific skills will include<p><br></p><ul><li> Hands-on working experience in building complex asset driven financial models </li><li> Hand-on working experience in building complex BI Dashboards and Reports using Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects, VBA, etc. </li><li> Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze, understand data and think outside the box </li><li> Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and being proactive </li></ul><p><br></p><strong> Background, Skills & Qualifications: </strong><p><br></p><ul><li> Direct experience creating asset-driven financial models </li><li> Proficiency in accounting and financial software. </li><li> Financial management experience, preferably in Real Estate Finance </li><li> Strong aptitude for financial modelling and planning. </li><li> Effective communication skills. </li><li> Computer literacy – particularly Excel, VBA, and ERP </li><li> Strong analytical skills. </li><li> Broad knowledge of accounting principles. </li><li> Relevant University degree and a proven track record of success </li><li> Recognized and relevant financial experience preferably within Real Estate </li><li> Qualifications within relevant financial modelling software, Excel, SharePoint, and intelligence tools</li></ul>
