Job Description
The Deployment Unit Sales Manager is responsible for acquisitions from Deployment events, Deployment strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product/Partnership Management team. Expand market share for Citibank products through managing Deployment teams & increasing deployment acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Expand the market share for Citibank products through managing a team of Deployment Sales Managers & grow the deployment acquisition channel.
- Partner with Product, Partnership and Marketing teams to identify new deployment opportunities, marketing programs and strategic initiatives to increase footfall & productivity at deployment kiosks.
- Ensure effective utilization of deployment space and sales headcount (shift assignment, shift duration…etc.)
- To ensure that team performance meets desired objectives and goals set by Management.
- Responsible for meeting / exceeding KPIs for the channel. Plan and implement Deployment strategies which can help to overachieve the goals.
- Conduct regular meeting/daily team huddles to review performance, provide updates and feedback.
- Identify successful locations & deploy profitable marketing strategies, implement key growth initiatives, and maintain current market intelligence on overall industry verticals and competitors.
- Ensure successful execution of marketing plans and execute priorities for business or product possibly requiring coordination and integration across units.
- Perform analysis of cost and benefit of deployment events to ensure that CPA is within the budget.
- Observe and address any weakness in sales process including customer intercept, engagement, and communication.
- Work towards building a Sales culture which becomes a benchmark in terms of meritocracy, diversity and adherence to Citi policies.
- Work closely with Sales Support/Operations and CIU for smooth functioning/ flow of applications and processes.
- Handles customer queries and complaints on priority to build a client-centric culture.
- Builds talent pipeline, identifies, and grooms high potential sales staff.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
- Achieve satisfactory audits and Local Regulatory Audit results.
Qualifications:
- Preferably with 2 + years’ experience in managing a team in a target-based environment.
- Working knowledge of product management, program management, and marketing
- Track record of outstanding individual sales performance and/or overall business performance
- Strong leader, entrepreneurial, driven and passionate for sales
- Ability to collaborate especially with internal/external partners on delivery of client-facing solutions
- Ability to apply client mindset to shape
- Comprehensive knowledge of risk management
- Demonstrated leadership and motivational skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
