About You

Are you a Saudi National with passion in Logistics?

As the Inbound Logistics Coordinator, you will be managing the Inbound logistics operations in Saudi, Dammam, by closely working with Customs Brokers and Customs authorities in order to ensure on-time clearance of all the inbound shipments into the region and deliver cost savings and cost avoidances to support the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) business.

You will report to the Inbound Logistics Lead, GCC and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).

Location: position to be based in Dammam, KSA, with an hybrid model (home office / Dammam Plant)

Your Key Accountabilities

  • Managing the day to day operations with the customs brokerage team by ensuring that all the customs activities in terms of clearance procedure completed on-time without anticipating any detention and demurrages.
  • Managing Duty exemptions, environmental import permits and other activities with Bahrain customs.
  • Closely working with Customs Authority in liaison with customs broker to adopt and implement any newly introduced policies and procedures by government authorities
  • Leading the reconciliations process with customs broker for all the advances paid upfront to the customs broker
  • Initiate/lead or contribute significant logistics projects that are adding value in support of increasing the cost benefits and improving the turn around time for customs clearance
  • Compliance to CFI’s in all process and procedures
  • Engagement with the business, maintain close, co-operative relationships with key stakeholders including finance, operations and legal.
  • Identify cost savings opportunities for short- and long-term implementation. Serve as a liaison among other business functions to facilitate activities that result in lowest cost to the supply chain.
  • Ensure compilation, delivery and distribution of accurate data and reports that track the KPI of the Service Department and conformance to Contractual agreements

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor Degree, Diploma or equivalent ( In Supply Chain Management )
  • Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain Management field experience
  • 2 years experience in Customs Clearance and using SAP
  • Ability to drive results, ensuring continuity of high performance and achieving stretch targets.
  • Financial acumen with cost drivers and metrics
