You as a Production Planner will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be generating a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production execution dates in coordination with other internal departments.

Your responsibilities

Workout and creating, maintaining detail production plan daily or weekly or monthly.

Releasing manufacturing work orders, executes daily, plant-level materials requirement planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.

Establishing sequence and leading time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule or plan obtained from the production plan.

Monitoring schedule adherence identifies key root causes for deviation and takes follow-up improvement action. Adjusting production plan when customer demand fluctuating

Feeds information on production capacity issues and material availability to related stake holders.

Managing SAP production planning for factory work centers and capacity management.

Making and closing of production orders.

Following daily output and material replenish situation.

In-dept knowledge of MS project for scheduling daily or monthly plan.

Handling planning meetings with stakes holders. Following-up with other departments for internal activities and inputs.

Coordinating with external shell suppliers. Handling daily GEMBA meetings.

Ensuring timely, full, and accurate communication with all relevant dept. which impact on delivery dates.

Performing duties while maintaining highest standard of safety, integrity, and quality.

Taking care of external & internal customer’s satisfaction.

Additional knowledge to work on Autocade or MicroStation for support production engineering.

Reporting planning related KPIs. Other tasks assigned by Department Manager or company.

Your background

A bachelor’s degree in engineering.

5+ years’ experience.

Knowledge in MS Office or MS-Excel.

Knowledge in SAP – MM & PP Module. Autocade or MicroStation.

Proven communication skills.

Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
