Come join us to be a part of this future.<p><br></p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong> The Art Director is responsible to direct the overall visual appearance of all elements of the assigned project based on the existing creative intent, reference, materials and mock-ups. The AD will, under the supervision of the Creative Director, be a guardian of the story and creative intent visually to ensure the best guest experience. The AD is responsible for being the vision keeper, resolving any related inconsistencies or disputes in design. Reports to and collaborates with the Director of Creative and Show Design and project team to develop and direct creative design intent to satisfy project creative, business, technical, and operational objectives.<p><br></p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Visual design direction and defines design elements of the project that affect the guest experience. In addition to established samples and mock-ups, the AD may need to develop/provide sketches, found imagery, illustrations, composite imagery and image research documentation. </li><li>Directs and oversees, fabrication and installation of all on-site project elements to ensure the creative intent is achieved as envisioned by the Creative Director. Project elements such as but not limited to: rock work, architecture, scenic art, scenery, props, animation, show action, special fx, and lighting. </li><li>Works in parallel with internal disciplines and external vendors to realize the desired vision. Provides art related vendors and any scenic scope with art direction as required. </li><li>In collaboration with the Creative Director, act as design “vision-keeper” for the project. </li><li>Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Creative Director. </li></ul><p><br></p><strong>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: </strong>Ability to make decisions on the fly and under pressure. Iterate complex artistic ideas verbally, written and/or provide visuals and materials. The AD must have in-depth knowledge of color theory, art, scenic painting techniques, sculpture, architecture, perspective, theatrical lighting techniques and storytelling. This position will require you to relocate to KSA. You’ll have the right to live, work and drive in KSA and you’ll have an unrestricted right to travel globally.<p><br></p><strong>SCOPE: </strong> Responsible for directing teams of creative project personnel such as artists, scenic designers, painters, sculptors, programmers, etc. Practices supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
