General information:
You as a Senior Quality Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business unit of Power Grid High Voltage based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia will be reporting to HUB Quality Manager. You will be responsible for delivering World class Quality and drive Improvements. Responsibilities:
Arranging and performing activities in shop floor related to quality checking of product, material incoming quality, production and testing process. Responsible on process development, procedures, templates and working instructions related Incoming quality and supplier quality Collaborating with and empowering all departments for deviation detection, Nonconformance follow ups, root cause analysis, correction measures implementation and continuous improvement Supporting in resolving Quality issues form GIS assembly line or from site and follow up the NCR related improvement actions Attending and participating in the internal/external audits (ISO, Hitachi Energy, Customer) and work with all departments to close all findings and improvements. Participating in organizational changes and lean culture implementation within the BU. Implementing and monitoring the quality strategy for materials, customer complaints and processes using predefined quality KPI’s . Arranging & performing failure analysis, reports using 8D template or similar Arranging & sustaining a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements Monitoring supplier quality performance, material management and analysis and follow up corrective actions related to NCRs and CCRPs Employee’s shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Electrical, Mechanical. 6-8 Years of experience is required. Strong knowledge on GIS Product, Quality Control, Quality Assurance. Hands on experience on Inspection of material, QMS & Internal Quality Auditing. Should have knowledge on Quality Tools, RCA, Lean Six Sigma Strong Communication and presentation skills.
