The opportunity

The facilities Management Coordinator (technical) role will have to oversee all technical services for the contract, with accountability for maintaining an oversight of the building services, fabric and technical operational performance of client’s portfolio. 

The facilities management coordinator (technical) will report to the senior facilities manager.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing SOP’s with FM Manager.

  • Following on a critical path along with Head Engineering.

  • Assisting in snagging process.

  • Assisting in taking over systems and areas.

  • Preparing schedule for preventive maintenance.

  • Being responsible for maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical areas and makes sure that preventive maintenance is done on time as per schedule.

  • Monitoring the working condition of all Electrical and Mechanical plants of the property.

  • Monitoring daily utility consumption and takes steps to control it.

  • Taking lead role in energy conservation program for the property and follows environmental policy of the group.

  • Overseeing and coordinating planning and reaction to mechanical and electrical technical service delivery for buildings, facilities and equipment across the client’s estate.

  • Developing and maintain technical/operational standards and quality assurance processes for the services being managed.

  • Providing technical expertise, training and consultation to staff, the client and end users particularly for critical and high profile projects where technical architectural issues are a vital consideration.

  • Ensuring the highest levels of health and safety are achieved across the site including the implementation of the ‘permit to work’ regime.

  • Handling line management of technical coordinators and condition survey technicians across the client’s estate.

  • Preparing specifications and tender or quotation documentation as required for works in liaison with the commercial team.

  • Identifying and deploying innovative ways in which technology can be used to continually improve services to the client and end users.

  • Ensuring that change management and control is enforced across the client’s estate and standards and procedures are adhered to.

About you 

You have a relevant degree qualification. You have experience in FM industry.
