Sales Supervisor
Job Description
Purpose of the job
Supervise the Sales & Distribution activities for the assigned routes ensuring sales and secondary distribution, in line with the Sales & Distribution policies and approaches, in order to realize the gross sales and profit targets for the routes.
Key Accountabilities

Sales
Assist the ASM in setting targets for the sales team and guide and motivate the sales staff in their performance, to effectively manage and control the van sales routes in order to realize the sales targets with agreed expenses.

Market and competitor insights
Obtain and maintain knowledge of the sales and distribution channels and of competitors’ activity throughout the area, and share and discuss with the ASM for appropriate actions.

Key Accounts (if applicable)
Execute the agreements with Key accounts, according to instructions and maintain good business relations with the representatives of Key Accounts in the area.

Journey Planning
Make and execute the daily journey planning for the sales men in the team, in cooperation with the respective salesmen and in alignment with the ASM, in order to plan customer’s routes efficiently.

Appearance
Ensure that the vehicles are clean and tidy inside and outside as well as the sales men’s uniforms, in order to present the company professionally and be recognized by customers.

Product’s Shelf Life
Ensure monitoring the Product’s Shelf Life at the stores, to ensure that the reserved product’s space is filled up accordingly and no expired product is displayed, and ensure wastage control according to policies and procedures.

New Clients
Initiate and organize sales to new clients in the assigned routes, aligned with the relevant other departments and in line with the S&D strategy, in order to increase sales.

Credit Management
Execute the approved company payment and credit policies and ensure credit and collection management for all sales in the Area, ensuring timely payments.

People Management
Ensure the required number and quality of people, and people management in line with Sadafco’s HR policies, in order to enable the realization of the S&D targets.
–
Administration and Reporting
Ensure the administration and reporting with SEBA according to the S&D policies and procedures and ensure data entry into systems is both accurate and timely.
Skills
Educational level: secondary school diploma
Specific diploma/education: Business, Marketing or Finance
Minimal experience: 2 years in similar job
Languages: English, Hindi/Urdu, Arabic preferred
* Other requirements: 22+, numerate and analytical, good computer skills.
