ELV Technician
Job Description
<strong>JOB PURPOSE: </strong><p><br></p>To operate, control and maintenance of all ELV system, BMS, ACS, FACP, CCTV, Automatic Barriers and Gates. To administer all document related to the project.<p><br></p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Monitoring and controlling of BMS /FACP/ACS/CCTV/Automatic gates workstation. </li><li> Daily time to time reporting of Critical and Non-Critical Alarms in each ELV system. </li><li> Assist supervisor and carry out fault rectification on each system and update Maximo. </li><li> Assist engineers for functionality and integration test of SCADA and FACP system. </li><li> Coordinate with MMS to generate WO and follow up to close after rectification. </li><li> Carry out PPM activity, BMS, ACS, CCTV, Automatic gates, and Reporting. </li><li> Monitor BMS/ACS Server and do necessary back up of data. </li><li> Coordinate with MEP/CIVIL team to carry out Corrective and PM activities. </li><li> Coordinate with third party persons and assist for any test, fault rectification for ELV system. </li><li> Coordinate and carry out calibration for ELV system devices. </li><li> Carry out routine inspection for the system and report to Supervisor/Engineer. </li><li> Assist personnel with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of IT/ ELV system hardware and software. </li><li> Troubleshoot hardware and software issues of networks and switches. </li><li> Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use. </li><li> Coordinate with other parties for interface systems. </li><li> Assist and verify functionality of site installed servers for BMS, ACS and SCADA interfacing tools. <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>SKILLS REQUIRED:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Communication skills. </li><li> Able to work in a multicultural environment. </li><li> Technical sound and root cause analysis skills to resolve the issues. </li><li> Sound skills and experienced in office/site administration. </li><li> Proficiency in using computer and MS office package. </li><li> Ability to understand complex systems and possess good IT skills. </li><li> Ability to follow instructions and complete technical report documentation. </li><li> Able to foster good relations with colleagues and be a good team player. </li><li> Able to work with minimum supervision under stringent deadlines and high-pressure environment. </li><li> Leadership Qualities & Reporting . <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Graduate in Engineering Discipline (Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science Engineering) <br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</strong><p><br><br></p><ul><li> Fluent in English. </li><li> Arabic language is a plus. </li><li> Having a UAE LMV License is an advantag e.</li></ul>
