Biomedical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled “<strong>Biomedical Engineer</strong>” to join a leading Lebanese Hopistal based in <strong>Kano, Nigeria</strong>. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing medical devices and equipment, as well as conducting research to improve healthcare technology.<p><br></p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Design and develop medical devices and equipment, including prosthetics, artificial organs, diagnostic equipment, and imaging systems.</li><li>Conduct research and testing to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medical devices and procedures.</li><li>Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.</li><li>Maintain and repair medical equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance for all medical devices and equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with medical professionals to integrate technology effectively into patient care.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of healthcare technology through attending conferences, reading scientific journals, and participating in continuing education courses.</li><li>Manage projects and timelines effectively, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within budget.<br></li></ul><p><br></p><strong>Qualifications:</strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelors or Master’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in similar field.</li><li>Experience in designing and developing medical devices and equipment.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical devices.</li><li>Solid in knowedlge in medical devices like: MRI, City Scan, Lab devices.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.<br></li></ul>
