<strong><u>Purpose & Overall Relevance For The Organization<br><br></u></strong>This role is responsible for maximizing the profitability of the EM Direct-To-Consumer business. In your role, you will be supporting the implementation of adidas DTC strategy consistently across all EM clusters for own stores, consulting the cluster DTC organizations and manging key projects and initiatives. The focus of this role will be to drive pre-season planning, merchandise and financial planning, store clustering and grading, option planning for own retail across the regions in collaboration with the clusters. The role focuses on concept store business.<br><br><strong><u>Key Responsibilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Define and design pre-season strategy for Own retail concept stores including OTB Planning & Management following the market financial targets (Net sales, Net sales @Full Price, Inventory cover, ST%)</li><li>Define and manage store segmentation (clustering & grading) process with all cluster counterparts to enable the right distribution of product and price points</li><li>Define and manage the store option plan and space management process </li><li>Drive a comprehensive pre-buy milestone review and sign off to ensure the right product is bought in the right depth in alignment with the product seasonal strategic direction</li><li>Gather and provide detailed analysis and data in order to support a pre-seasonal OTB planning, buy- sign-off process and in-season tracking of aligned strategic direction </li><li>Collaborate with clusters to develop concrete action plans to improve the overall product buy from a commercial perspective</li><li>Work with Sr. Manager in implementing the global DTC strategy by working with Market stakeholders </li><li>Contribute to the design of and implement a set of key Brick Mortar trading standards, including reporting, that help evaluate the business goals and ensure this is rolled out in the clusters</li><li>Evaluate and propose the commonality and differentiation in Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for Brick & Mortar of the commercial buy process</li><li>Support the enhancement of all product planning systems and tools, liaising with the Business Solution Team to meet world class best practices<br></li></ul><strong><u>Key Relationships<br></u></strong><ul><li>DTC Cluster Merchandising </li><li>Finance</li><li>Demand Planning</li><li>Business Units</li><li>CTC</li><li>Business Solutions</li><li>EM BI and Global solution<br></li></ul><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills And Abilities<br></u></strong><ul><li>Outstanding functional skills in Retail/Merchandising/Buying in Own Retail and/or eCommerce environments. </li><li>Knowledge of an Enterprise Reporting System (e.g. Power BI, MicroStrategy) and/or ERP system is an advantage. </li><li>Knowledge of Merchandising systems and processes is an advantage.</li><li>Advanced user of MS Office suite of products</li><li>Expert in Excel</li><li>Fluent in English.</li><li>Additional languages are an advantage <br></li></ul><strong><u>Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications<br></u></strong><ul><li>University degree and/or commercial training in the area of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing or Sales is preferred.</li><li>Min 6 years of relevant functional experience in Retail/Merchandising/Buying </li><li>Industry experience in Sports/Fashion/FMCG</li></ul>
