Job Description

CrossBoundary Advisory is recruiting a full-time Senior Associate to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. As a Senior Associate, you will identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct macroeconomic market assessments, and provide investment transaction support. We seek candidates should have 4+ years of experience working in high-caliber finance or consulting organizations and ideally experience working in developing countries, particularly in the Middle East (though this is not a requirement).

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred (or another relevant advanced degree/professional qualification)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or similar
  • Strong quantitative skills and analytical abilities: can think clearly, structure problems logically, and then design and implement solutions that focus on the core issues
  • High tolerance for ambiguity; able to operate effectively in a changing context
  • Willing to take on new types of work, even without prior experience or direct supervision
  • Excellent presentation skills: ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse audiences
  • Self-starter who is humble and passionate about creating lasting change in underserved markets
  • Enthusiastic about working, traveling, and living in sometimes challenging environments
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Experience living and/or working in underserved or developing markets (particularly in the Middle East) is not required but will be viewed favorably

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support and manage multiple projects/transactions/workstreams concurrently with various supporting staff configurations
  • Conduct and draft analyses, which include may financial models, market assessments, investment memorandums and pitch decks, as well as macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational assessments
  • Independently cultivate and manage relationships with existing and potential investors, clients, companies, and other stakeholders
  • Drive workstreams with clients directly and independently
  • Manage entire project portfolios
  • Make complex and challenging value-driven decisions
  • Development and mentorship of junior staff
  • Foster talent across teams and the firm; encourage diversity of people and ideas

Locations

Candidates will join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. This role may involve traveling around the MENA region.
