Job Description

<p>We are looking for an experienced English teacher to join our team LONG-TERM.</p><p><br></p><p>If you love English and have the ability to teach the language with patience and tact, let’s meet.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Teaching English ONLINE to adults. (foreign NON-Egyptian Students)</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Close follow-up on Students’ progress and attendance.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Adapting Teaching material to fit students’ needs.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>The instructor is expected to use several channels for follow-up and is required to report follow-up activities according to Speak Up operating procedures and standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Follow-up tasks include:</strong></p><ul><li>Encourage student attendance of the online classes and insure students’ participation in the classrooms.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Conduct regular follow-up calls with students to discuss their academic progress and provide academic support as needed</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Track progress on Speak Up Student Zone and provide feedback/advice to students if needed</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Setup online classes on Speak Up learning platform</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>Deliver periodic reports to management with regard to each of the groups</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Schedule :</strong></p><ul><li>The schedule is 100-120 hours of teaching a month.</li></ul><p><br></p><ul><li>2 days off are rotational.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ol><li>At least 3-4 years experience in teaching English to adults / Young adults.</li><li>TEFL/FELT/ &amp; CELTA certificates are preferred.</li><li>Stable &amp; fast Internet connection.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>The teacher will be guaranteed a minimum of 80 hours/month &amp; must be willing to take up to 100 hours/month.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Will be paid on per hourly basis at a rate of EGP 100-EGP- EGP 125 for a probation period of 3-4 months then will be transferred to a fixed payment arrangement as below:</p><p><br></p><p>After the probation period, 50% of the Package (hourly rate X 100 hours/month) is fixed, and a higher rate if offered for hours exceeding 80-100.</p><p><br></p>
