<strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>Identify the Risks associated with the projects.</li><li>Work on the Risk Register.</li><li>Define Challenges, Issues properly and address them to the Management in a timely manner.</li><li>Report on potential risks and their responses.</li><li>Should have a strong background in pre-construction management, including contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost.</li><li>Must have an excellent working knowledge of schedule management, and the sequence of activities from pre-design to design development to construction and closeout.</li><li>Strong background in various methods of project delivery systems, including lump sum, cost-plus, and target cost contracts.</li><li>Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and other management teams.</li><li>Excellent background in handling costs, claims associated with cost and time, change order management, and conflict resolution.</li><li>Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><p><br></p><ul><li>An ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably with a minimum of 13+ years experience in risk management, and be responsible for managing, supervising, and implementing the requirements of risks relating to a portfolio of projects.</li><li>The Risk Engineer should have a good working knowledge of schedule management and the sequence of activities from pre-design to design development to construction and closeout.</li><li>The Risk Engineer should have a good background in handling costs, claims associated with cost and time, change order management, and conflict resolution.</li><li>The Risk Engineer should have a strong background in pre-construction management, including contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost.</li><li>The Risk Engineer should have a strong background in various methods of project delivery systems, including lump sum, cost-plus, and target cost contracts.</li><li>The Risk Engineer should possess very good English skills, both written and verbal, in dealing with clients and consultants.</li><li>Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office is essential)</li></ul><p><br></p><strong><u>About Us</u></strong><p><br></p>Hill International, with more than 3,200 professionals in over 100 offices worldwide, provides program management, project management, construction management, project management oversight, dispute resolution, advisory, facilities management, and other consulting services to clients in a variety of market sectors. <em>Engineering News-Record</em> magazine recently ranked Hill as one of the largest construction management firms in the United States.
