The Copier Technician’s primary duties include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of complex technical functions related to the support of engineering activities such as installation, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electromagnetic systems. Major responsibilities of this position reside in equipment maintenance and technical support. This position reports to the Site Services Manager or designee. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.<br><br><strong>DUTIES:<br></strong><ul><li>Diagnose and correct equipment and system malfunctions, which fail to respond to </li><li>standard corrective measures. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video type circuits and logic systems. </li><li>Prepare reports, charts and graphs for management personnel to use in making decisions, which will be instrumental in the ultimate performance of IT xerographic equipment in CAA locations. </li><li>Install and maintain new model equipment. Due to the unique nature of the job site, <br><br></li></ul>the copier technician will be required to install and maintain equipment in a variety of workspaces.<br><ul><li>Establish and maintain necessary record-keeping procedures for service logs, and secure parts ordering/tracking spreadsheets that will allow for easier training and transition for future personnel. </li><li>Maintain a centrally shared information repository where above information can be <br><br></li></ul>retrieved for future use by copier technicians/engineers. Maintain an inventory of all copiers and associate parts, kits and consumables.<br><br><strong>REQUIRED:</strong> <ul><li> Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:</li><ul><li>The candidate must have two (2) years’ diversified experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electromagnetic systems. </li><li>TEMPEST certification; or must complete an approved certification program. </li></ul><li> Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</li><ul><li>Knowledge of all principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility. </li><li>Experience providing excellent customer services. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules. </li><li>Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel. </li><li>Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team. </li><li>Must have the ability to be innovative and be an agent for change. </li><li>Expert communication skills to facilitate and disseminate information. </li></ul><li> Education: A high school diploma or GED. </li><li> Passport, Licenses and Certifications: As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages. Valid drivers’ license</li><li> Security Vetting: Already possess a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification level for the duration of the contract. </li><li> Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures. </li><li> Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment. <br><br></li></ul><strong>DESIRED:<br></strong><ul><li>Experience with SHARP and HP printers / plotters / copiers; and should have experience</li><li>in maintenance and repair tools as well as the equipment used in the installation of electrical / electronic components. </li><li>Ability to create charts, reports and graphs for management review and working knowledge of MS office to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. </li><li>Previous out of home country experience is highly desirable and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions is a plus. </li><li>Experience working with Amentum / PAE. <br><br></li></ul>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
