Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and complete projects on time, within budget, and scope.
  • Supervise projects from initiation to completion, ensuring proper coordination with all departments.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and share them with project managers and staff members.
  • Provide timely project updates to stakeholders.
  • Continuously work towards successful project completion within agreed timelines and deliverables.
  • Review resource demands and optimize resource usage to meet project requirements.
  • Supervise tasks on-site and provide progress reports.
  • Ensure the flow of information from the project manager to the team.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project.
  • Support the project manager with project scheduling, coordination, material delivery, and progress reporting.
  • Assist with clerical tasks, such as petty cash management and expense tracking.
  • Maintain proactive coordination with other departments.
  • Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by management.

Requirements:Β 

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the IT industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as knowledge of IT systems and solutions.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and project delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Proven ability to manage project schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in managing stakeholder expectations, building relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects in Controlled Environments) may be preferred or beneficial.
