Job Description

The Social Media Executive assists in executing global social media strategies and managing content across diverse platforms. Responsibilities include optimizing social media assets management, supporting the team in content calendar design, and promoting online engagement while monitoring social media trends. The role also involves ensuring efficient contracting processes with third party partners, supporting asset library management, tracking collaborations with creators, and collaborating with the hotel teams in preparing successful creative sessions.

Main accountabilities

-Drive the growth and engagement of Fairmont hotels social media presence by effectively implementing social media strategies across various platforms.

– Boost brand visibility and contributing to establish a consistent online voice for the brand by curating and managing content in line with the brand strategy.
– Assist in managing the brand image by contributing to curate and produce visually compelling content, including photos and videos across platforms.
– Encourage user-generated content and foster a strong community spirit by developing and expanding community and content creators outreach efforts.
– Support the team in tracking collaborations, designing content calendars, managing asset libraries, and coordinating hotel stays to ensure smooth operation and execution of social media campaigns.
– Ensure the company’s social media strategy stays relevant by monitoring and adapting to trends in social media content, tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
– Maintain a compliant online presence of all 90 Fairmont hotels as well as global accounts by adhering to all company and platform-specific rules and SOPs in place.
– Contribute to SEO efforts through content writing and keyword strategy, optimizing social media posts for search.
– Contribute to the broader goals of the global social media and commercial team and overall business strategy.
