Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Research Nurse will perform a variety of complex and independent activities involved in planning, coordinating and conducting research studies within the scope of research projects in PSCC. The person on this role will promote clinical innovation, research and evidence-based practices, integrating knowledge and creating a spirit of inquiry and a culture of excellence that supports nursing

Education/Licensure

Essential:        Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Desirable:       Research certificate or diploma

Essential:        Current licensure Registered Nurse (RN) with a nursing governing body from the employee’s country of origin.

Essential:        Licensed with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

Essential:        BLS certification.

Professional Experience

Essential:        Minimum five (5) years clinical nursing experience in a medium to large healthcare facility.

Desirable:       Previous Nursing Research experience.

 Desirable:      Having authored articles in professional publications.

Skills

Personal Qualities/Skills

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including ability to provide analytical verbal and written summaries and rationale to a diverse audience.

 Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

 Demonstrated knowledge of clinical integration and evidence-based practice.
