R00201148<p><br></p>Job Characteristics: Typically has large facility, regional or network-wide responsibility. Responsible for all physical distribution activities typically including order processing, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, fleet operations, and logistics planning. Provides leadership role with HQ peers, local sales force and customers in solving issues & developing programs. May also be responsible for customer services. This role will be responsible for a medium site, central/corporate team or medium country, country/cluster distribution center.<p><br></p>Education/Work: Degree in Business, Engineering or Transportation and at least 8 years experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing or management.<p><br></p>Independence Level/Reports to: Requires low to medium supervision. Interfaces with other local operations functions with limited direction. Coordinates with HQ logistics peers, local sales mgmt. and customers. Level III requires low supervision. Interfaces with other local operations functions with limited direction. Provides leadership role with HQ logistics peers, local sales mgmt., and customers in solving issues and developing programs.
