Job Description

<p>The Logistics Officer is responsible of ensure delivery schedule and trade terms been maintained as per issued P.O. material movement activities align with corporate logistics policies and procedures and customs requirements.</p><p><br></p><ul><li> <strong>Goods received</strong></li></ul><p> Assign forwarder agent with best price from Supplier to warehouse/projects site (door to door) by verifying appropriate delivery, ensure all payment activities to supplier and forwarder well maintained as well as customs duty payments through SADAD. Payment to supplier is responsibility of procurement to ensure it is done by finance.</p><ul><li> <strong>Customs clearance</strong></li></ul><p> Arrange complete file of documentation and hand over to the assigned clearing agent, Such as Bill of Lading, Invoices, Packing List, Delivery Notes along with issuance of Saber products &amp; shipments certificates for regulated Items, and shipment certificate only for none regulated items for clearance prior lifting of goods in coordination with procurement</p><ul><li> <strong>Land transport</strong></li></ul><p> Assign at least three truckers with fixed price between and in-cities for one year considering co. procedure for trade terms, assign every shipment to the right P.O for projects/services or cost center.</p><ul><li> <strong>Local and overseas courier</strong></li></ul><p> Arrange contract with at least three couriers for light load and documentations between and in-cities, book shipments online, track all parcel’s, arrange all invoices and charge to the right P.O’s for projects/ services or cost center.</p><ul><li><strong> Logistics process</strong></li></ul><p> Update all logistics process in SAP in-order to show the material status in-transit, in Customs, in warehouse make sure GR done on time by warehouse Supervisor. </p><ul><li><strong>Process alignment</strong></li></ul><p> Assign at least three truckers with fixed price between and in-cities for one year considering co. procedure for trade terms, assign every shipment to the right P.O for projects/services or cost center.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Necessary Knowledge and Experience:</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p> A minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role.</p><p> </p><ul><li><strong>Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p> A Bachelor’s degree in business management, or equivalent.</p><p><br></p><ul><li> <strong>Competencies / Job Specific Technical Skills:</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><ol><li> Hands-on knowledge of workflow processes &amp; logistics/warehouse management</li><li> Vendor management and compliance skills</li><li> Ability to manage third party logistics service providers</li><li> Proactive and comfortable in a high-pressure environment</li><li> Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP (MM &amp; WM modules)</li><li> Very good verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English</li></ol><p></p>
