Job Description
THE ROLE:
Support the shipping line / groups Trade Managers by promoting and selling the agency import and cross trade liner services to achieve predetermined targets and budgets.
Main Activities:
• Ensure prime Sales-Coverage and contact with customers to promote shipping lines import and crosstrade services.
• Meet sales strategies and directions for Import department.
• Ensure sales process and standards are adhered to and met with – viz: territory Management, business communication, sales force automation
• Set up of a plan to develop new customers portfolio for import department.
• Resolves customer complaints and queries related to Imports department.
• Generating Sales leads from customers and engaging appropriate parties to reach overall goal of Agency import targets.
• Assist to achieve budgets set for Cross Selling and shipping lines Value added Services
• Assist the finance team in recovering over dues from customers.
• Reporting to Sales manager on Market updates and competition actions.
