Cost Planner – Real Estate Developer

Job Description

Our client is a reputable Real Estate Developer in RAK, currently going through a sustained period of growth. As part of the expansion, they are now looking for a Cost Planner to assist the Commercial Manager in all front end/pre contract activities.

Duties:

• Lead role in producing new project cost plans, feasibility studies and bills of quantities.
• Preparation, review and sign-off of cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates.
• Lead role in value engineering exercises for all projects.
• Carried out due-diligence of current leading cost planning software solutions.
• Benchmark and record historic commodity price information, sector trends with the ability to apply currency rate factors and inflation rate factors.
• Provide directors with resource projections.
• Attend regular clients meetings and design meetings.
• Prepare bid model fee calculations in response to client RFP’s for new prospects.
