Job Description
<strong>JOB PURPOSE:<br></strong><ul><li> Manage a team composed of maintainers and technicians.</li><li> Monitor the activity of its employees and support them, to help them achieve the goals set</li><li> Be responsible for respecting the safety rules in the team.<br><br></li></ul><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:<br></strong><ul><li> Coordinate the work of the team (plan priorities, optimize the adequacy of needs and resources, train, manage<br><br></li></ul>conflicts…).<br><ul><li> Inform and communicate (create and maintain relationships with team, relaying and disseminating information, giving meaning and explaining the decisions or solutions made).</li><li> Support and listen (answer the questions asked and inform their line manager, create and maintain a climate of trust within the team, support their team and promote know-how).</li><li> Motivate the team.</li><li> Manage human, material and financial resources (assess and contribute to the development of operators’ skills during annual interviews, contribute to the development of the training plan, etc.).</li><li> Monitor and control the activity (involve the agents in the analysis of results, identify corrective measures to rectify deviations from production …)</li><li> Ensure technical support regarding the TELECOM indoor and outdoor and other subjects related to the maintenance.</li><li> Manage the production quality.</li><li> Ensure the safety of people (workers and passengers) and property.</li><li> Search all useful information in the event of a reported or unreported damage.</li><li> Troubleshooting the train.</li><li> Reporting and ensuring traceability (informing all those concerned, informing the IT databases, writing reports).</li><li> Ensure technical coordination between the various maintenance departments.</li><li> Manage the site and logistics (keep documentation up to date, manage stocks, take corrective or preventive measures).</li><li> Monitor and analyze the behaviour of trainsets (anomalies or damage, etc.), operating conditions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience<br><br></strong>QUALIFICATIONS:<br><ul><li> Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering<br><br></li></ul><strong>KNOWLEDGE:<br></strong><ul><li> TELECOM maintenance (light maintenance and/or heavy maintenance (overhaul))</li><li> Electricity, mechanics, electronics, pneumatics</li><li> Troubleshooting methods</li><li> Management Lean manufacturing</li><li> Maintenance Production</li><li> Team Management</li><li> Change Management</li><li> Safety management (OHS acts).</li><li> Advance technical knowledge</li><li> MMS such Maximo<br><br></li></ul><strong>EXPERIENCE:<br></strong><ul><li> At least 5 yearsβ relevant experience in Railway industry</li><li> Spent at least 5 years in the TELECOM maintenance environment.</li><li> Have an experience in the change management culture<br><br></li></ul><strong>DESIRED BEHAVIORS:<br></strong><ul><li> Management skills</li><li> Ability to communicate with staff of all levels</li><li> Ability to supervise and control</li><li> Possess analytical and critical ability</li><li> Possess leadership quality</li><li> Negotiation and decision-making ability</li><li> Innovative, creative and strategic thinking</li><li> Possess self-drive and enthusiasm</li><li> Problem solving ability</li><li> English – fluent in speaking, reading and Arabic will be nice</li></ul>
