WSP is looking for an Airport Business Continuity Specialist for a project based in Riyadh, to oversee and coordinate construction activities across various projects at the airport. This critical role requires a deep understanding of aviation operations, risk management, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure the seamless and safe functioning of airport facilities.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of construction projects, promoting safety, and enhancing the overall airport experience for passengers and stakeholders.

Your new role, what’s involved?
* Project Coordination:
+ Lead and coordinate construction activities across multiple airport projects, including terminal expansions, runway improvements, taxiways, aprons, and landside developments.
+ Ensure that construction projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and according to the approved schedule.
* Safety and Compliance:
+ Prioritize safety as the top priority throughout the construction process, adhering to aviation safety regulations and best practices.
+ Work closely with relevant authorities and internal safety teams to identify and address potential safety risks.
* Risk Management:
+ Identify and assess risks associated with construction activities and develop mitigation plans to minimize disruptions to airport operations.
+ Implement robust risk management strategies to protect airport assets and ensure uninterrupted service.
* Stakeholder Management:
+ Collaborate with various stakeholders, including airport authorities, airlines, air traffic control, and other relevant departments, to ensure smooth coordination and communication during construction projects.
+ Liaise with construction contractors, consultants, and engineering teams to ensure project objectives are met.
* Quality Assurance:
+ Oversee quality control processes to ensure that construction work complies with approved designs, aviation standards, and industry regulations.
+ Conduct regular inspections to monitor construction progress and quality of workmanship.
* Documentation and Reporting:
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all construction activities, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change orders.
+ Provide timely updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status and construction milestones.
