Job Description

Job Purpose

This position exists to perform SAP development environment possessing efficiently, in timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Key Accountability Areas

ABAP Development:
– Develop SAP ABAP custom solutions to meet Enterprise IT Applications Development team standards.
– Develop SAP ABAP integrations with SAP backend applications and SAP NetWeaver Gateway Services to achieve security and quality standards and business requirements.
– Develop custom SAP Developments including Workflows, Forms (English / Arabic), Reports, Interface (ABAP and Web-DynPro), Conversion programs and Enhancements (WRICEF) in SAP to meet the business requirements while delivering within defined project deadlines.
– Possess hands-on expertise in developing OData Services, SAP ABAP, SAP NetWaver Gateway Service modelling & development to deliver challenging business requirements on time.
– Creative thinking to the solution design to maximize the impact of the solutions
– Contribute extensively in developing ABAP related business Workflow and its objects (MM, FI, SD, CRM, QM, HCM, CRM, DMS) to deliver business requirements meeting IT Development team standards.
– Develop Interfaces, Custom Reports by using existing, BADI, BAPI, Smartforms, SAPscript and by conducting Performance Testing, Monitor and Tuning of various interfaces to ensure Coding Quality standards are met and deliveries are on schedule.

Technical Assessment:
– Perform technical analysis, technical scoping, and development estimates for business requirements with accurate effort estimates and low-level design on technical solution ensuring that proposed solutions and requirements are viable and can be delivered to satisfaction of the customer. Assist in the preparation of project plans for activities performed within the framework of a given project including defining technical project scope as well as preparing work plans for the project.
– Solution documentation:
– Produce high quality technical documents on all developments and customizations within the defined deadlines to ensure documentation standards and templates are followed.

Post go-live support:
– Resolve production incidents during the support and maintenance phase within the defined Service Level Agreements – SLAs to ensure system stability and customer satisfaction.

– Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services
