Contracts Manager

Job Description

The Manager – Contracts in Qatar is responsible for the preparation, review and administration of construction supervision/PMCM contracts (pre & post award). He is accountable to safeguard K&A’s interests in all contracts signed by the company in Qatar from the proposal development stage to contract administration during delivery and handing over stages. This includes but is not limited to preparing / reviewing supervision contracts, addressing contractual matters, resolving disputes and providing expert advice.

The jobholder is responsible to monitor overall contractual/commercial risk exposure for all supervision/PMCM projects in Qatar and to devise mitigation measures to address these risks. He shall stay abreast of the latest contractual trends in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry and adopt best practices, where applicable. Moreover, the candidate will be responsible to oversee & manage all the local PMCM/supervision projects resource allocation & planning from the corporate/head office level to ensure no contractual/commercial clashes occur with the clients or internally during the project life cycle.
