Geotechnical Manager

Job Description

• As a Lead Geotechnical Expert – expected to support the project with technical expertise and organizational skills, with the following (but not limited); geotechnical assessment, rock mass classification systems, analysis and design and be effective in geotechnical problem-solving with particular emphasis of tunneling projects (Drill and Blast, TBM and Road header/Mechanical Excavations)
• Supervision of site activities/investigations and testing methods.
• Dealing with sub-contractor and clients/consultants.
• Develop Scope of Works for geotechnical investigations
• Geohazard identification, assessment and recommendations
• Review and analysis of geotechnical solutions, including tunneling methods, reclamations, ground improvement, earthworks, slope stabilization, retaining walls, shallow and deep foundations, pavements, among other geotechnical matters
• Review of geotechnical factual and interpretive reports as well as other design documents (drawings, specifications, method statements) related to geotechnical discipline.
• Preparation of quotations, engagement of subcontractors, management and review of deliverables
• Project delivery experience, accomplishing deadlines and budget establish.
• Use of associated geotechnical software will be advantageous.
• Be team player and interact with engineering team
• Engage with geotechnical team and cooperate on projects
• To be proactive and anticipate client requirements.
• Takes personal responsibility for client satisfaction.
