Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Marketing & PR Communications will initiate, plan and manage the implementation of the hotel’s Marketing / Communication & PR strategy to maximize exposure, grow market share and successfully strengthen the hotel’s position in key feeder markets while working closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
– To develop and implement effective Marketing and Communication strategies and its activations across all channels, ensuring all brand standards are followed
– Serve as the hotel’s primary brand ambassador, ensuring that the brand guidelines are followed by the hotel in all marketing collateral, advertising and E-Commerce.
– To handle the Quarterly / yearly campaign plan development, execution and management.
– To develop compelling online marketing plans geared to ensure that the hotel is suitably positioned and covered on the internet.
– To maximize the visibility of the Hotel on Social Media channels.
– To monitor ROI of the online campaigns and the management of all online channels.
– To ensure the hotel’s websites, OTA’s and other Third-party website content are up to date and keeping the sites dynamic for Internet related exposure and advertising.
– To liaise with appointed media and advertising agency with design and layout coordination, production of ad material and the development of stationary, collateral, brochures and graphics.
– To conduct market research to determine the market trends and requirements for existing and future projects.
– To track and maintain information about competitors’ and luxury brands’ marketing and communication activities in locally, regionally and globally (campaigns, offers, promotions, advertising, collateral) and to develop and update a filing system for all information.
– To organize and conduct photo shoots for the hotel and the F&B outlets
– To liaise with the appointed PR agency / Creative agency and other media houses to generate awareness, develop press releases, news releases and photo captions for the hotel according to the marketing objectives.
– To create the hotel’s press kits, press releases and creative communication of news worthy items with the PR agency.
– To regularly update the press kits.
– To develop and maintain active contacts with the press and key overseas media.
