Hotel Overview:
Fairmont The Palm is a luxury, world-class resort located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai. The hotel features 391 guest rooms and suites with dedicated Fairmont Gold rooms and lounge. A total of 11 food and beverage outlets on property offer international dining options including Little Miss India, Frevo – Brazilian Churrasco experience, Seagrill Bistro, Ba Restaurant and Lounge, Blowfish, Flow Kitchen, The Cigar Room, Vuvuzela and others. Fairmont the Palm also features an expansive pool and beach area with a health club, Willow Stream Spa and the Fairmont Falcons Kids\’ Club.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
– Maintain all electrical equipment and all electrical control panels\’ inaccurate function.
– Prepare preventive maintenance schedule.
– Maintain the cleanliness of all electrical panels, motors, electrical appliances, etc.
– Distribute the work to subordinates according to capabilities to get the best results.
– Ensure that the work done by subordinates are according to the specified standard.
– Ensure that all related tools are in safe place and in good working condition.
– Follow the preventive maintenance chart strictly and maintain records for future reference.
– Coordinate with other departments counterparts and ensure their satisfaction on quality and progress and create healthy inter-department relationships.
– Create opportunities for engineering Employees to multitask and increase their skills and knowledge.
– Maintain all kitchen and laundry equipment in good working order.
– Maintain the cleanliness of all kitchen and Laundry equipment.
– Maintain the performance of pumps and motors.
– Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests\’ and employees\’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.
– Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures Engineer.
– Allocation of duties to the appropriate Engineering staff / contractors with the guidance of the Chief Engineer.
– Other duties as assigned
