Terrace Bar and Lounge Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Salary: Market related

Our client opened in 2014, offering comfortable and high-quality facilities. With a diverse F&B offering including restaurants, a reflection pond and roof top gym and pool deck with impressive views across the city and the gulf.

They are looking for a Bar and Lounge Manager which is situated on the roof top terrace offering Food and a wide range of beverages.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a working environment in which staff are fully trained, supportive of each other, motivated and competent.

Effectively manage the outlet’s administration including checklists, briefings, handovers, operating equipment control, stock control, rosters and guest charges.

Be able to build and maintain strong relations with employees and customers.

Maintain the health, hygiene and professional appearance of the restaurant area and all who work in it

Fulfill service requirements promptly and with a positive approach

Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.

Skills

Requirements

At least 2 to 4 years of bar and / or lounge experience in a 4 or 5 start hotel

Good numeracy, verbal and written English skills

A tertiary qualification or diploma in hospitality management or similar would be an advantage

Proactive approach to driving the business and increase revenue

Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic would be an advantage
