Stock Controller

Job Description

The Stock Controller maintains a company’s inventory, replenishing items according to business needs and implementing purchases, audits, and transfers. He/She maintains purchase and pricing reports, replenishes stock levels, and oversees shipments and internal stock transfers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control systems.
• Maintain accurate inventories of finished goods, raw materials, and equipment.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchases and sales.
• Track flow of stock through the company.
• Promote inventory as an asset within the company.

Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• A minimum of one year experience as a stock controller.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
