Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Head the Banks Logistics division under Corporate Services umbrella, the role is responsible for managing the four functional verticals i.e Hospitality, Mail & Communications, Subscriptions, Security & other Printing services. The incumbent will be tasked with leading and efficiently managing the services whilst ensuring consistent improvements in service quality and standards whilst leading the team to build capability required to support FABs growth plans

Whilst efficiently managing the day to day operations of all Logistics Services the role is responsible to ensure compliance to policies and procedures and in parallel work towards upscaling the capabilities, offerings in alignment with the banks strategic goals

To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and services available in the market that would benefit the business and take our services to the next level, thus driving consistent enhancements and driving value propositions

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Generic Accountability

Knowledge of products and services

  • Knowledge of core and specific FAB’s products and services

Industry Knowledge

  • Knowledge of industry trends and their impact on FAB business decisions

Data Analysis and Financial Modelling

  • Determining trends from raw data to assist decision-making

Risk Management Skills

  • The ability to identify, assess and mitigate the technical and commercial risks associated with work

Developing Business Relationships

  • Develop and sustain mutually beneficial business partnerships

Service Oriented

  • Customer Service oriented attitude and the drive to ensure highest standards of service quality and high levels of service efficiency is maintained

Qualifications

  • Administrative lead experience of about 5-8 years
  • Experience with leading similar critical functions an advantage – security printing, statements, etc
  • Oracle system knowledge and advantage
  • Strong people management skills
  • Strong negotiation and Vendor management skills
  • Service oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English & Arabic  
  • Comfortable working with senior level stakeholders
  • Excellent Project management and presentation skills
