Overview of the role:
- Boats / Marine Engines overhauling, trouble shooting and services
- Assistance on engines installation project work on site
What you will do:
- Repair and service of Marine engines as per dealer/distributor standards and within stipulated time
- Marine engine installation and commissioning onsite
- Adhering strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by work in charge
- Should be able to read and follow the electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Usage of workshop service manuals and manufacturers software tool
- Ability to perform accurate diagnosis and repair procedures.
- Give the proper report with required spare parts to carry out the job
- Ready to work on customer site with proper safety precautions
Skills
Required skills to be successful:
- Should have electromechanical skills
- 5 years hands on experience in diagnosis, repair, and service of marine products
- Should be strong team player
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill
- Ability to understand English as the medium of communication
About the team:
Working in a fast-paced, diverse team and reporting to the Service Manager.
What equips you for the role:
- 5 years in Marine inboard diesel engines & Gear box (Mechanical & Electronic)
- Preferred experience on Yanmar engines
- Industrial Training certificate or Diploma in mechanical
