About the jobAs a Business Development & Accounts Lead, at Aspire, you will be in charge of developing strategies to identify new business and client opportunities, ensuring sales growth and customer satisfaction. They typically perform research and analysis to gather data, coordinate with analysts and experts, produce sales and progress reports, and maintain records of all transactions. Furthermore, a business development account manager must build positive relationships with clients and secure sales by reaching out to customers through calls, correspondence, or appointments. They may offer products and services, process payments, and handle inquiries or concerns.
What you’ll do
- Multimillion USD pipeline generation and closure
- Business Planning – Develop and deliver comprehensive sales plans to address business priorities
- Produce and communicate an accurate periodic forecast while maintaining the sales pipeline
- Review and provide reports on public information (e.g. new executive appointments, earnings statements, press releases) for the company and its competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting the prospect
- Actively understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans, technology strategy landscape
- Lead designated territory, including accounts, account relationships, prospect profiling, and sales cycles
- Work closely with the Operations/delivery team and ensure the delivery of the projects
- Prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within client organizations
What you’ll need
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Computer Engineering from a recognized university.
- 8+ years of overall experience in the IT Sector in client-facing roles for both IT Consulting and IT Implementation businesses
- 5+ years of successful business development and account management experience in the IT sector for clients in the Middle East
- Demonstrated success with key/strategic accounts, large deals, and complex sales cycles in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market
- Deep understanding of the IT services market in the Middle East with a strong network of connections in at least 2-3 countries such as the UAE, KSA and Jordan
- Experience in working on advanced, integrated, professional services engagements model working across multiple lines of business for both Scope based project engagement & Team augmentation services
- Fully aware of technology trends, industry standards, and terminology specifically in Digital Transformation, Automation, Data & Cloud technologies
- Experience in Banking & Financial Services, Insurance, Retail & eCommerce, and Digital government solutions is a plus
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Postgraduate or Graduate in IT, Marketing, Business Management or similar
- Looking for a self-driven individual, willing to take personal ownership of the role at an individual level
