Overview
The successful candidate will be forming and defining our market offerings, managing innovative solutions and driving our overall strategy, to effect continued and sustained growth for our Oracle business in KSA. He/she must possess a unique blend of business and technical practical understanding; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.
Job Responsibilities
- Spends time in the market to understand resellers and their challenges, and help find innovative solutions in order to compete with the broader market.
- Work with marketing communications to give input the go-to-market strategy, helping them and the product managers understand the product positioning, key benefits, value proposition and target customers.
- Assist in writing Product marketing plans with key events and activities to achieve sales demand creation.
- Packages products and service offerings in order to support the reseller sales channel and key customers with understanding the commercial rationale, key features, business rules and high level operating functionality.
- Product Planning such as Market Research & Intelligence, idea screening, for activities, events and demand generation, analysis of business & technology requirements and processes and input to product marketing & press releases/ thought leadership.
- Determining annual budgets
- Sales performance to budget
- Measuring Products such as monitoring daily sales reports, gross profit from daily sales & contribution reports.
- Measure profitability & return metrics of products
- Giving input to Resellers
- Channel Development such as identifying suitable channel partners per product & service, supplying enablement services to channel and growing the units channel partner by numbers & revenue.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management or Product Marketing Management.
- Demonstrated success defining and launching products and services;
- 2+ years of experience in a job in the IT networking and/or Oracle channel segment
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills;
- Skills in preparing budgets and forecasts;
- Ability to perform market opportunity analysis; size, profitability, competitor analysis;
- Tertiary education such as Bachelor’s business degree or relevant and/or MBA;
- 2+ years of software marketing/product management experience;
- Excellent teamwork skills;
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority;
- Must be able to travel locally and internationally.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Software, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel useful
