About the job Assistant Manager – Well Services
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all services provided to internal/external clients are in line with our clients’ processes, and procedures and meet all contractual obligations.
- Assure the application of consistent, safe, and legally compliant operations.
- Identify and implement improvements in the technical quality and content of performance standards and procedural guidance related to offshore and onshore operations.
- Drive continuous improvement of process efficiency, reduction of cost, and improved profit through reviews/action plans and structured frequent performance management for employees, suppliers, and network partners.
- Support and improve the quality of planning, risk assessment, and execution of daily operations.
- Review and update processes and procedures applicable to operations whilst maintaining consistent and legally
compliant performance standards and technical guidance.
- Support project in the planning, risk assessment, and execution of operations.
- In collaboration with Specialist – HSSEQ, perform incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Act as the client interface by building up professional working relationships with key players in the client’s organization.
- Provide recommendations on all resources required to perform assigned tasks and activities.
- Supervise subordinate staff, assign work activities, monitor performance, and review results;
- Act as a coach to subordinates, identify their training and career development, recommend training courses, and follow up on their personnel records such as timesheets, discipline, vacations, leaves, and absenteeism;
- Support Marketing of our client-owned and third part Well Services assets including Work Over Units, Jack Up Barges, Well Stimulations Vessels, and related well intervention Equipment
- Perform other job-related duties and projects as assigned
Education & Professional Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Geo Sciences and/or equivalent experience;
- Recognized Well Control Supervisor accreditation.
- 8 plus years of experience preferably within offshore Well intervention Rig, Jack Up Barge and Stimulation Vessel industry;
- Exposure to Oil & Gas Exploration and production operations;
- Demonstratable track record of managing end-to-end operations.
- Knowledge of Hydraulic systems in order to rectify/solve issues in relation to malfunction.
- To be able to understand load conditions and adjust load conditions in relation to jacking conditions and operational conditions.
- Knowledge and understanding of site-specific assessment in order to understand what can be expected during jacking operations.
