Job Description
- Designing and implementing new network (Wired / Wireless) solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks (Wired / Wireless)
- Hands on L2 Network (STP, Port channel, VPC, stacking, VSS, HSRP, VRRP)
- Hands on Routing (OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, BGP)
- Hands on Wireless network design, implementation
- Troubleshoot Wireless LAN networks to quickly resolve and minimize downtime and outages.
- Hands on Cisco controller / AP configuration
- Ability to do wireless survey and conclude heat mapping
- Devise, plan, deploy, and improve wireless networks from the beginning to implementation by collaborating with vendors
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, WAN accelerators, Wireless Controller, DNS and DHCP
- Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Arranging scheduled upgrades
- Investigating faults in the network
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders
- Review HLD, LLD, BOQ and attend technical discussions with Vendors to optimize the setup of various network projects
- Provision new services, configure CRs and troubleshoot on different types of network, security and datacenter devices on multiple vendors’ equipment’s. Develop Impact analysis, Rollout plan and Rollback plan for all network activities
- Review Configuration Templates before applying it on Core Network Devices
- Skills for Cisco ISE
- Skills for Firewalls
- Skills for Guest Captive Portal Solutions like Ipera, AntiLabs and Nomadix
- Skills for Hyper location tracking systems
- Experience in managing Robots through Wi-Fi
- Wireless analysis abilities
