Job Description

Is able to identify sources for categories, understands contractual terms and can negotiate with limited guidance in support of purchases for projects.  

Developing skills in claims resolution, warranty claims, LD’s for items procured.

Is attuned to changes in supplier performance and escalates issues appropriately.  Understands currency fluctuation and can perform a comparison of offerings in alternative currencies.  

Can effectively evaluate payment term, Inco term and milestone payment options.

Understands and utilizes company’s systems/tools relevant to job role to complete assigned activities.

Will understand Air Products businesses and strategic business goals and the importance of managing the financial, reputational and operational risks associated with purchases in support of capital expenditures.
